Our partnership with Elvim began in August 2016 when our team was tasked with taking over an existing Elvim website, initially created by another WordPress developer team. During the process we came to the conclusion that the end result of this continued development will not meet client’s expectations. Having scrapped the original work, we decided to re-make the website using a high-quality WordPress template which allowed us to implement all necessary modules and features required by the client.

Finished version of the website was then copied to several different languages upon our Elvim partners’ request. Websites were slightly modified in style based on the corresponding country’s demographics, and eventually launched on separate domains.

This resulted in three eCommerce stores for Femarelle – a line of women’s nutritional supplements:

After successfully launching our first batch of websites, we were offered an opportunity to refresh and migrate the rest of Elvim brand websites. At the time, these websites were running on different platforms such as Joomla, OpenCart, Wix, and others. We decided to rebuild each website from scratch using WordPress only, making it easier for the expanding team of Elvim managers and online store administrators to handle day-to-day business.

Furthermore, our responsibilities encompassed regular maintenance, updates and support, including partial content and product management. For example, having received new content from our Elvim colleagues, we used it to design new pages or update existing pages, and then make them public on live websites.

The process of transferring all of the Elvim’s projects to WordPress took us around one year. In total, we created 15 more websites in addition to Femarelle. Here are some of them:

In early 2018 Elvim team had approached us with their new project – a big online store, featuring the entire range of their brands and available products, which would run on WordPress and WooCommerce.

The first version of Medplaza was live up until mid-2020. Having gauged promising potential in online sales, alongside with the Elvim team we decided to completely redesign the store to better accommodate all technical requirements of a growing online business. The resulting version of Medplaza was built using Blocksy template, which to this day remains one of our favourite tools for this type of project.

At the moment, all Elvim projects use our ComaVPS hosting.
